Blagoje Svrkota
Blagoje Svrkota (b. 1948 in Sivac), is a poet, journalist, and published author.
He graduated from Gimnasium in Sombor, and took a degree in South Slavic Literature at the University of Philosophy in Novi Sad.
His works were published in many newspapers and magazines. He published a book together with Petar Banovčanin called What May Prove Justice in 1970 and had his book of poems Where is St. Andrea published by Svetovi from Novi Sad in 2005. He appeared in anthologies by dr. Stojan Berber, Birds and Waterfalls (1970) and Pera Zubac, Big Secrets (1997). He is also the founder and editor of Almanach from Sombor.
He is the author and editor of numerous publications in the field of literature, history, and history of art & painting. He is a member of Association of Writers of Vojvodina.
He lives in Sombor and works at the Post Office.
Ljubomir O. Vujović
Ljubomir O. Vujović was born in 1952 in Zagreb.
His works include Cobalt Blue Chest (poetry, Log, 2003), The Night of the Full Moon (Narodna knjiga, 2004), Don't worry, Any Coincidence Is Purely Coincidental (aphorisms, Belege d.o.o., 2006), and Colours of Dreams (Narodna knjiga, 2007). He appeared as a co-author of many books and often published his poems, prose works, and aphorisms in poetry/prose collections, literary periodicals, and anthologies.
He lives and works in Belgrade.
Miša Lazar
Miša Lazar was born on June 19, 1957 in the summer and winter house Tornička Planina in the village of Tornik, close to Ljubovija. He has lived and worked in Belgrade since 1976.
He published five books of poetry: Snik, Onanica, Rikoči, Monaštica, and Gateways, as well as two books of prose: Unriddling and Weald-like. He appeared as a co-author of several books and often published in anthologies, collections, and literary periodicals. He is a member of various eminent literature clubs, societies, and art associations.
He was shortlisted for awards: in 2000 – from Andrić-Gligović Academy (for prose); in 2006 – from the City Assembly of Belgrade (for poetry); in 2008 – from the City Assembly of Belgrade (for poetry); in 2009 – from the City Assembly of Belgrade (for a book of short stories); and in 2008 – from the Management Board of Dragojlo Dudić Foundation (received praise for prose).
He was awarded in 2000 – KZJ or Literary Associationof Yugoslavia (for wine poetry), 2001 – KZJ (for wine poetry), 2001 – KZJ (for spiritual poetry), 2001 – Crnjanski Scene (for prose), 2003 – Crnjanski Scene (for prose), and 2004 - The Metaphors of Šumadija (for prose).
Vasa Radovanović
Vasa Radovanović was born in 1961. He lives and works in Belgrade.
He published four books of poems: Silly Town (1988), Bohemian Tale (1993), Colour, Smell, and Sound (1999), and Commoner's Cry (2004).
His works were translated to French, English, and Japanese, and were included in many anthologies.
He is a member of the Association of Writers of Serbia.
