Nikola Č. Jovanović

Nikola (son of Čedomir) Jovanović was born on December 9, 1943 in Šabac, where he finished gimnasium and wrote his first poems. He finished his medical studies in 1969 graduating on the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He began his professional career in Krupanj, where he lived shortly. Soon he moved back into his hometown Šabac and eventually moved to Belgrade in 1976, where he found an employment at the Institute of Oncology and Radiology and specialized anesthesia-reanimation. He first took a master's degree and later doctorate in cardiology. He obtained the title of professional collaborator in anesthesia-reanimation and oncology. For many years he was a professor in UMH (Urgent Medical Help) at the Medical College. He was also the author of the UMH textbook, now published in its fourth edition.

While still a student of the gimnasium in Šabac and during his medical studies in Belgrade, he engaged in amateur activities in music, folklore, acting, and writing poetry. He still has an interest in music and poetry.

He is married to Gordana, doctor. They have two sons - Mihailo (Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering), and Goran (Law Degree).

He wrote about 60 poems. He usually writes love, children's, and patriotic poetry, and dedicates his poems to family and friends. This is his first book of poetry.

His earlier published poems In Manjež and Bohemian Drinking Toast are included in anthologies of bohemian poetry Nostalgic Boat (2004) and Serbian Vineyard (2005) published by KOC Čukarica and DERETA.

Lela Marković

Lela Marković was born on March 3, 1971 in Prizren. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. She published several book of poetry: In Search of Oneself (1997), The Epilogue (1999), Serbian Jerusalem (2001), My Heart Wanders in the North (lyrics, 2002), The Eternal Gamma of Freedom (group of authors, 2004), The Most Beautiful Haiku Poems (group of authors, 2004), I Want to See You More Often (poems for children, group of authors, 2004), Following the Cobble Stone Road to South (novel, 2004), Joyride (children's book, 2005).

She is a member of the Association of Writers of Serbia, Yugoslav Society of Writers and Authors, and Serbian Songwriters' Association. He publishes his poems in literature periodicals.

She's also the author of a series of educational kids games produced by Beoplast export-import, Belgrade: Orthodox Saints Day, The Path of Sveti Sava, Travel around the World, Jungle Games, Travelling through Neverland, The Golden Hair, Alice in Gameland.

She won the first award in Zapis Lyrical Circles, Gornji Milanovac 2004, as well as the third award of the poetry festival May Meetings - Crnjanski Scene, Belgrade 2004 for her lyric poetry, and the award of the poetry festival Golden Poetry Meetings, Subotica 2004 for modern verse.

She resides in Belgrade, where she works in the City Centre for Social Work.

Snežana Bijelović–Gerović

Snežana Bijelović-Gerović was born on April 12, 1965 in Dubrovnik. She spent her childhood in Trebinje, where she also finished her primary and high school education.

She graduated from the Faculty of Filology. She speaks French, German, and English.

She published a book of poetry Waiting for a Poet (2002). Her poems were included in many poetry books, anthologies, and joint projects.

She is a member of Đuro Salaj literature club, the Yugoslav Society of Writers and Authors, and UTEKS.

Eyes the Colour of Homeland is her second book of poetry.

She lives and works in Belgrade.

Jovan N. Bundalo

Jovan N. Bundalo was born in Majkić Japra near Sanski Most. THhis is his sixth book of poems. His earlier books of poems were published by Prosveta, Belgrade (Yes or No, Love Is War), and Čigoja štampa (Smile When We Are Parted, The Admornment of Another's Soul). He published his fifth book of poems Lost Shadows by himself, with Čedomir Mirković and Milovan Vitezović as reviewers and editors.

He resides and works in Belgrade.

Radmila Aranitović–Arambašić

Radmila Aranitović-Arambašić is the second child of Milja and Radojica, born in Mali Krći near Pljevlje on the day of her family saint St. George. She was raised in a traditional family atmosphere typical for Pljevlje, in Lovćanska Street which she often visits whenever she pays a visit to her old mother. Reminiscences of her old neighbourhood are the main subject of her latest, second book of poems. She writes of her student days (Radmila was a student of the French language), years spent in Telekom Serbia in Belgrade, precious moments with her family and her most beautiful poems - her children Anastasija and Ognjen. She spent her working and most fruitful years in Belgrade which she adored and where she wrote and published her many poems in poetry and literature magazines, books, and anthologies. She is a member of several poetry and writers' clubs, participant and organizer of their activities, and the winner of several poetry awards.

She is a member of the Writers' Club of PTT employees of Đoka Pavlović, Belgrade, as well as the Yugoslav Society of Writers and Authors, the Association of Writers in the Country and Abroad SAJKOR, Serbian Songwriters' Association UTEKS, Writers' Club Đuro Salaj, Belgrade, and others. Her poems are an emotional rollercoaster and revolve around beauty and love, celebrating the joy of life and creation.
